2025 International Highland Virtual Show!

Shat Acres Highland Cattle sure get around!

This time on the World Stage. The results of the 2025 International Highland Virtual Show are in. Judged by Karen Dennis of Australia, there were 157 entries to the 2025 Virtual Show from 9 countries throughout the world. Judged solely by one photographic submission, the entries are an inspiring display of some of the best Highland cattle in the world.

If you are interested in what this ancient and heritage breed looks like across the globe, check out the Highland Cattle Breeders Page: Virtual Show. With 11 winning entries from the United States, 9 were our own Shat Acres Highland guys and gals. Shat Acres is the oldest registered fold of Highland Cattle in the United States, since 1966.

The cattle entered are first Judged first by Ms. Dennis, and then any of the thirty breeders who entered cattle into the show can submit their votes for each class's winners. The photographs surrounded by white are the Judge's Choice, those surrounded by yellow are the People's Choice.

Thank you to Trevor Perry for initiating this opportunity to connect with Highland breeders throughout the world and share our beloved Highlands, and for the tremendous amount of time and effort it takes to make it happen. And Congratulations to Nancy Geller at Elm Hollow Highlands and Jon Sawle at Sandhill Pines Farm for their United States winners!
